WHOA Dust® for Dog Arenas15 kg, Indoor & Outdoor
Description
During competition or training, having a secure footing is important. WHOA Dust® is a non- aggressive binder, that delivers dust-free footing and provides excellent traction, stability and cushion. A more consistent surface will allow the dogs to focus on the next obstacle and their handlers. WHOA Dust® is non-toxic and non-corrosive, and is safe for pup paws, noses and mouths. Dogs can run, dig, jump and roll all they want in footing treated with WHOA Dust®. Technical support is available to answer your questions about WHOA Dust® and your dog agility arena.
How to Use
WHOA Dust binds dust in agility footing so it stays put instead of becoming airborne during runs. It's non-toxic, non-corrosive, and safe for paws, noses, and mouths, so dogs can work the course normally once it's applied.
Application depends on your arena's exact size and footing type. Call our technical support team before you apply — they'll walk you through quantity and application specific to your setup.
Frequently Asked Questions
Treats the cause, not the symptom
We treat our own arena with this. Here's what actually matters after a full season of running dogs on it — not marketing points, real ones.
Binds Dust at the Source
Uses flocculation to charge fine dust particles so they link together and settle back into the footing instead of becoming airborne mid-run.
Safe for Paws, Noses, and Mouths
Non-toxic and non-corrosive — dogs can run, dig, jump, and roll in treated footing without any concern.
Consistent Footing Run After Run
A more even surface means dogs and handlers can focus on the course instead of fighting inconsistent footing underfoot.
Backed by Real Technical Support
Every order comes with access to technical support for questions specific to your arena and footing type.
Under two hours, no special equipment
Every order includes a custom application guide for your arena size and footing type. The short version:
Prep the footing
Lightly water dry footing first — it needs a little moisture to activate. Groom the top 1–1.5" with a diamond harrow flipped upside down. Don't go deeper than 1.5".
Apply, groom, apply
Spread evenly, groom it into the top layer, then make a second pass. The double application gives even distribution and better activation throughout.
Water, wait, ride
Water thoroughly once it's worked in. You can ride the same day, but 12–24 hours gives the best long-term result as it fully activates.
How much you'll need
Enter your arena and we'll work out the initial amount, how many 15 kg pails that is, and roughly how long it lasts before you reorder.
We'll nudge you when it's time to reapply — about every 3 months — so your footing never backslides. No spam, just the reminder.
Barn owners on WHOA Dust

My arena's watering requirements dropped from daily to once every two to three weeks. I'm definitely a fan.
Not only did we see elimination in dust, but the footing dramatically improved. It has reduced watering from every 2 days to once every 2 weeks.
Within minutes it started to work, transforming my dusty dry arena into a moist sand. I now water a 1/3 of what I used to.
This winter was the easiest winter we have had in terms of arena maintenance. The footing stayed moist and consistent.
Effective in our indoor arena and outdoors in both our sand competition ring as well as our silica GGT ring.
The most amazing treatment I bought for my arena. It is by far worth its weight in gold!
