I've never used a slow feeder before. Is the Day Bag a good place to start?

The mesh hole size is the same — so feeding rate is identical — but the extra width means less wrestling with the bag at fill time. If you're buying 3-tie bales, the W version makes your life noticeably easier. \

Will my horse get frustrated and stop eating from the net?

When introduced properly with loose hay offered alongside it for the first week, most horses adapt quickly and actually prefer trickle feeding once they get the hang of it. Frustration usually comes from starting with too small a hole size or skipping the introduction period. Choose the right size for your animal and hay type and the transition is usually smooth. \
