Description

Concrete stall floors are hard on horses. Not obviously, not right away — but standing on hard surfaces for hours every day adds up in legs, joints, and hooves, especially for horses that spend a lot of time in the stall. Ameba stall mats from Animat are built to fix that. Made from dense 3/4" vulcanized recycled rubber, they cushion the floor, reduce shock and vibration, and give your horses a surface that's genuinely more comfortable to stand on day after day.

How to Use

Start with a level base — compacted screenings, crushed gravel, or concrete all work well. The flatter the base, the better the mats will sit.
Lay the first mat in a corner of the stall, edges tight against the wall.
Connect additional mats using the interlocking edges. The Ameba design clicks into place — you'll feel it lock.
Trim any edge mats to fit using a utility knife or heavy-duty blade. The rubber cuts cleanly around posts, drains, and corners.
Add your bedding on top as usual.

In most stall installations, the mats stay put through their own weight and the interlocking design — no adhesive needed. If you're installing on very smooth concrete, some barn managers anchor the outer edge mats, but it's rarely necessary.
