Finally, hay lasts all day
Two Quarter horses in a paddock, used to burn through a bale in 8 hours. Now it's a full day and a half. Holes are the right size and the rope hasn't frayed after six months.
Most orders deliver in 2–4 business days. Round bales and bulk mats ship LTL; you'll get a call to book a window.
If you have ever tried to keep a dirt or bare concrete stall clean, you already know how fast it becomes a problem. Moisture soaks in, ammonia builds up, and no amount of bedding fully compensates for a floor that was not designed for the job. The Classic Stall Kit puts a proper rubber floor down so everything else — bedding, cleaning, your horse's comfort — actually works the way it is supposed to.
The 3/4" recycled rubber construction handles the kind of daily punishment a stall sees: standing weight, shifting, pawing, wet conditions, and years of use. It cushions joints and legs without being soft enough to create stability problems. The flat surface sheds moisture and waste efficiently, which means less bedding required to do the same job and a stall that stays cleaner between strips.
These kits are heavy — that is how you know they are built right — and they ship by freight. Our team will reach out after checkout to arrange delivery or coordinate a pickup option that works for your location. Single replacement mats are also available if you ever need to swap out a section down the road.
Prepare the stall floor before installation. The base should be level, compacted, and free of debris. Rubber mats on an uneven base will rock and shift over time, so it is worth taking a few extra minutes here.
1. Sweep or rake the stall floor clean and check for any high or low spots. Compact or fill as needed. 2. Lay the pre-cut panels according to the kit layout, starting from one corner and working outward. 3. Fit panels snugly together — tight seams reduce the chance of waste and moisture getting underneath. 4. Trim any panels that meet a wall or door frame using a utility knife and a straight edge if minor adjustments are needed. 5. Once installed, bed the stall as normal. Rubber flooring works with all common bedding types including shavings, straw, and pelleted bedding.
For cleaning, mats can be pulled and hosed down during deep stall strips. Mild detergent and water are all you need — avoid petroleum-based cleaners as they can degrade the rubber over time.

We've laid these floors in our own barn. Here's what actually matters after years of hooves, wheelbarrows, and wash-downs — not marketing points, real ones.
Most kits arrive in slabs that still need trimming and fitting on your end. This one is sized for common stall dimensions right out of the box, so you spend your time installing, not cutting.
Thinner mats compress and curl over time. At 3/4" thick, this recycled rubber stays flat, holds its shape, and keeps doing its job season after season without needing to be flipped or replaced.
Smooth concrete is a slip hazard for horses standing in their stalls, especially when it gets wet. The rubber surface gives hooves something to grip, which reduces fatigue and lowers the risk of a fall during handling.
When the floor is sealed with rubber, moisture and waste sit on the surface instead of soaking into the ground. Daily cleaning takes less time, and your stall base underneath stays dry and intact longer.
Set your base, drop the mats in, and you are done. The pre-cut layout means panels fit together without complicated trimming or special tools. Most owners have it done in an afternoon.

Ordered on a Tuesday, showed up Friday. Clips haven't rusted through one freeze-thaw yet, which is more than I can say for the last two I bought from a chain feed store.
Uncle Jeeter was right about the 1¾" holes — I started with 1¼" and my mare just walked away. Switched up and she's happy. Would buy again.
