Description

If your horse stocks up overnight, swells during transport, or you are managing a condition like lymphangitis or cellulitis, you already know how frustrating traditional standing wraps can be. They slip, they lose tension, and getting them even every single time is more art than science. EquiCrown FIT replaces all of that with a compression wrap that delivers consistent, gentle pressure from the first minute to the last — no rolling, no layering, no wondering if you got it right.

The FIT is built for horses that spend time in the stall, travel regularly, or need ongoing support for conditions that cause swelling in the lower leg. The hook-and-eye closure accommodates changes in leg circumference as swelling comes and goes, and the gentle massage effect keeps lymphatic fluid moving so your horse's legs stay tighter and cooler. It is also an excellent tool for wound management, scar treatment, and pre- and post-surgery support when combined with your vet's protocol.

Available in five sizes for both front and hind legs, in regular and short lengths, and in Green/Black or Grey/Black. Sold in pairs or as a single leg. These wash clean at 40°C and handle ointments, mud, and daily use without losing their shape or compression.

How to Use
  1. Open the hook-and-eye fastening fully along the front of the cannon.
  2. Position the wrap around the leg, aligning the closure down the front of the cannon bone.
  3. Starting from the bottom, fasten the hook-and-eye rows upward, ensuring a snug but non-constricting fit.
  4. Check that the wrap sits smoothly with no bunching — you should be able to slide a finger under the top edge comfortably.
  5. For horses whose leg circumference changes throughout the day, the hook-and-eye closure can be adjusted without fully removing the wrap.

For wound management: Apply your topical treatment first, then wrap over it. The FIT is ointment resistant and will not break down from contact with topicals.

Care: Machine wash and dry at 40°C. Wash at least once a week with regular use to restore full compression.

Size Guide

Measure when the leg is at its minimum size — ideally right after exercise or riding. If that's not possible, walk the horse and cold hose the leg before taking measurements.

Three measurements needed (in cm): cD = cannon bone circumference · cC = fetlock circumference · Length = just below knee/hock to fetlock

WHY IT WORKS

Built different from the ground up

We wrap our own horses' legs with these. Here's what actually matters after months of daily wear and washing — not marketing points, real ones.

Consistent Compression, Every Single Time

Traditional standing wraps are only as good as the hands applying them — too loose does nothing, too tight can cause damage. FIT delivers the same graduated compression every time, no rolling and no guesswork.

On in Seconds, Not Minutes

The side-closing zipper and Velcro tabs mean you're not fighting with rolls of fabric at 5am. Get consistent support on fast, even when you're in a hurry.

Built for Daily Barn Life

Anatomical fit follows the shape of the leg instead of fighting it, so it stays put through turnout, transport, and stall rest without slipping or bunching.

Machine Washable, Built to Last

Wipe-down convenience isn't enough for barn use — FIT wraps go through the wash and come out ready for the next application.

What horse owners are saying

★★★★★

Legs tighter every morning

My mare had stocking up issues for three years. These have been on her every night for two months and her legs are consistently tight in the morning now. Easier to put on than standing wraps and they actually stay in place.

Exactly what my vet ordered

Recommended by our veterinarian for post-competition recovery. The consistent compression is noticeably better than what I was getting with traditional wraps, and they're so much faster to apply.

Took a wash to break in, then perfect

First application was a bit stiff, but after a wash they conformed to her legs perfectly. The hook-and-eye closure is a game changer for a horse that fluctuates through the day.
