Finally cleared the cellulitis
My gelding had recurring cellulitis for two years. Vet suggested these alongside the treatment protocol. First clear legs in months. The combination of compression and the antibacterial fabric made a real difference.
If you have dealt with mud fever, cellulitis, or chronic stocking up, you know how frustrating it is to find something that actually works. EquiCrown FIT Silver compression wraps were designed specifically for horses dealing with bacterial conditions of the lower leg — the kind that keep coming back when you treat the symptom but not the cause. The silver ions embedded in the material actively reduce bacteria like Staphylococcus aureus and MRSA right at the source, while the consistent compression gets circulation moving and helps bring that edema down.
What makes these different from a traditional standing wrap is consistency. There is no rolling, no re-wrapping, no wondering if you got the tension right. FIT Silver delivers precise, even compression every time — whether your horse is standing in the stall, loading for transport, or coming off a competition. The breathable construction means no heat trapping, and the stretch in both length and circumference means a proper fit regardless of leg shape.
Sold individually or in pairs. Available for front or hind legs, in regular or short fit across five sizes. These wash clean at 40°C and hold up to daily barn life — ointments, mud, and all.
For wound management: Apply your topical treatment first, then wrap over it. FIT Silver is ointment resistant and compatible with treatment protocols.
Care: Machine wash on a gentle cycle at 40°C. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Air dry to preserve the silver-ion properties. Wash at least once a week with daily use.
Measure when the leg is at its minimum size — ideally right after exercise or riding. If that's not possible, walk the horse and cold hose the leg before taking measurements.
Three measurements needed (in cm): cD = cannon bone circumference · cC = fetlock circumference · Length = just below knee/hock to fetlock

We wrap our own horses' legs with these. Here's what actually matters after months of daily wear and washing — not marketing points, real ones.
The material is embedded with silver ions that actively reduce bacteria like Staphylococcus aureus and MRSA at the source — this isn't just compression, it's addressing the bacterial side of conditions like mud fever and cellulitis directly.
Graduated compression gets circulation moving and helps bring swelling down, while the silver works on the bacterial component — most standing wraps only do the first part.
Same zip-and-tab application as the rest of the EquiCrown line — precise pressure every time, without the guesswork of hand-rolled wraps.
Designed specifically for the kind of chronic, bacterial lower-leg issues that keep coming back when only the symptom gets treated.

Two seasons of mud fever that kept coming back. Started using FIT Silver as part of our prevention routine this year and it's made a noticeable difference. Legs have stayed clean through a wet spring.
Our Thoroughbred has a tendency to develop skin issues on her hind legs. These wraps have kept the problem manageable without needing to increase the treatment protocol. Would recommend for horses prone to bacterial skin conditions.
