Who it is for

  • Ponies and miniature horses.
  • Donkeys and mules.
  • Goats and sheep.
  • Mixed small herds and boarding barns with a pony paddock.
  • Small square bales stacked, as well as rounds.

5 ft 4 × 5 $829.95
6 ft 5 × 6 $929.95

Why poly

No bars to trap a leg, no rust, no sharp edges. Panels give when leaned on. One person sets it up without tools. UV-stabilized for prairie winters. Made in Canada.

Need a wider ring later or a replacement panel? Add a 24" single panel. Full-height horses should look at the full-size ring.

Shipping

Ships from Sherwood Park, Alberta to Canada and the US. Freight quoted at checkout. Local pickup free. Message the barn if you are not sure which size.

Do the bale math

What loose feeding costs you every winter

A round bale fed on the ground loses 30–50% to trampling, soiling and wind. Inside a ring with a net, that drops to 2–4%. Put your own numbers in.

The ring is a one-time buy. The hay is a bill you pay every year.

Hay you are paying for that never reaches a horse, per winter

$0

Inside a poly ring with a net, waste drops to about 3%. That saves you $0 a winter.

Waste figures are ranges reported by extension services and by our own customers. Your bales, your weather and your herd will move the number; the direction does not change.

WHY POLY, NOT STEEL

Built so nothing gets hurt, including the hay

We run these rings in our own paddocks. Here's what actually matters after seasons of sun, snow, and hungry horses — not marketing points, real ones.

Sized for smaller animals

Sized for smaller animals

24 inches tall — the right reach for ponies, minis, sheep and goats to feed comfortably over the rim.

Same tough recycled poly

Same tough recycled poly

The exact material and panel system as the full-size ring. No rust, no splinters, no sharp edges.

Fits 5, 6 & 7 ft bales

Fits 5, 6 & 7 ft bales

Adjustable panels wrap whatever bale you're feeding, from smaller squares up to full rounds.

Easy to reposition

Light enough for one person to tip and roll to fresh ground — keeps paddocks from getting torn up.

Works with slow-feed nets

Drop a netted bale inside and small animals get all-day forage without the waste.

What folks are saying

★★★★★
The best feeder

Our poly ring & net are into their 4th winter of use & still going strong. Best. Setup. EVER!

★★★★★
Not one pound of feed wasted

These feeders are amazing! There is not one pound of feed wasted. We are no longer wasting 20 to 30 percent of a bale. The feeders provide a 24-hour source of forage and keep the horses busy. One person can change out the bale. These feeders are tough but light. There is absolutely no downside to these feeders.

★★★★★
Winter feeding made easy

This winter feeding horses was easy — 4 round bale hay nets set around our 40 acres worked wonders, horses traveled around to the bales and no wasted hay. Super product!
