Not one pound of feed wasted
These feeders are amazing! There is not one pound of feed wasted. We are no longer wasting 20 to 30 percent of a bale. One person can change out the bale. There is absolutely no downside to these feeders.
When you're taping a horse's back, a large shoulder group, or the hindquarters, narrower tape just doesn't cover the ground you need it to without layering strip after strip. The 10 cm tape handles those bigger areas in a single clean application — and for professionals who build fan cuts or custom multi-strip patterns, a wide roll cut down is often more precise than trying to line up several pre-cut strips side by side.
The adhesive is formulated specifically for animal hair and skin, which is where VetKinTape earns its place over anything you'd find at a pharmacy or a general sports supply store. Human kinesiology tape is engineered for bare skin. On a horse's coat, it typically doesn't hold the way it needs to. VetKinTape is designed from the ground up for fur — better contact, better hold, and the staying power to last through turnout and work. The breathable cotton does its part too: no moisture or heat building up under the tape, just clean support from application to removal.
Kinesiology tape gives you the most benefit when it's applied with proper technique — the tension, angle, and pattern all matter. If you're new to taping larger muscle groups, working alongside an equine physiotherapist or rehab vet the first few times is worth it. Once you're comfortable, the 10 cm roll is a fast and effective tool. Not sure if this is the right width for what you're working on? Give us a call — we're happy to talk through the options.
Make sure the coat and skin are clean and completely dry — any moisture or dirt will reduce adhesion significantly on a large taping surface. Measure and cut the tape to the size or pattern the technique requires — for fan cuts or multi-strip applications, cut from one end before removing the backing. Apply along the target muscle group using the tension appropriate for the technique — on large muscle areas this is especially important to get right. Smooth firmly across the full width and length of the tape to fully activate the heat-sensitive adhesive. Monitor the area over the next 24 to 48 hours to confirm the tape is holding and there are no signs of skin irritation. Remove carefully at the end of the intended wear period or immediately if irritation is observed.
Large-area taping techniques have more variables than simple strip applications. If you're new to working on backs or hindquarters, an equine physiotherapist or rehabilitation vet can walk you through it properly. Getting the technique right from the start makes a real difference in how the tape performs.
We tape our own horses with this system. Here's what actually matters when it has to stay on through real work — not marketing points, real ones.
The 10 cm width is the right tool when you're supporting a large muscle group and narrower tape would mean layering strip after strip to cover the area. One clean application over a horse's back or shoulder is more consistent and less time-consuming than building the same coverage from multiple narrow pieces.
This is not the tape from the pharmacy. VetKinTape uses an adhesive formula developed for fur and skin — a surface with very different properties than what standard human kinesiology tape is designed for. The result is real adhesion on real animals, not tape that starts lifting the moment the horse takes a few steps.
Kinesiology tape stretches with the body. On a horse's back or hindquarters — areas with significant muscle movement during work — that stretch matters. The tape provides supportive tension without restricting the movement it's positioned along.
The cotton construction allows airflow under the tape during stalling, turnout, and exercise. No heat trapping, no moisture building up against the skin — just consistent support that remains comfortable across a full day.
Many equine physiotherapists and rehab vets specifically stock the 10 cm roll because it gives them options. Use it full-width for large applications, cut it into strips for custom patterns, or use it as a fan cut over a broad area. One roll, multiple techniques.

I absolutely love the bagged straw. No smell in the barn this morning. Only 15 minutes to muck out our 36-stall barn with only one tractor tow-behind cart versus two. Thank you for all your help.
